| Star Trek: Great action packed movie. I didn't really like the storyline that much and it was often hard to follow but the graphics are amazingly stunning and the acting was perfect. Overall its a great addition to the Star Trek series and I highly recommend it. |

BTW, saw the Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks. 6/10. It had some funny moments but wasn't hilarious like I had hoped.

| I saw A Clockwork Orange (1971) Friday evening. It's one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen, though quite enjoyable. Not in the perverted sense, just to be clear. If I ever were to dress up for Halloween, I'd be Alex DeLarge.

| G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra: Loved this movie! It's a great movie with plenty of action, a great storyline, and clean. Of course, since I've already watched the cartoons I knew how everything would play out but watching it was like watching the story for the first time. Highly recommended, must see movie. |

| The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas - 9/10 I think the movie was well-done, well researched, well acted, generally well made. It's very interesting thinking about the transition the protagonist makes in the film, from right at the beginning in Berlin to the very last scene. Mission Impossible - 8/10 I hate to say this, but it's like the Bourne series, but better done. Something the Lord Made - 9/10 Very inspirational film, very interesting, especially as I'm pursuing a medical career as well. Wanted - 4.5/10 Very much a strange film. Nice action, nice effects, but I think it's just too strange to be a great film. And Marc Warren is a waste of space in here. Seeing how well he can act in Hustle, what he does in this film...it just made me want to cry. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - 8/10 An interesting film. The only bad part, I though, was when the evil dude (forgot his name) drinks the whole spherical flask of Mr. Hyde's potion. What he turns into just looks so unreal it's such a stark contrast to the rest of the film, which looks kind of plausible and believable. The Addam's Family - 6/10 It was better the first time I watched it when I was 8...the worst part about the film is the special effects; especially compared to Wanted and Star Trek, the age of the film really becomes apparent. Thing just looks really, really unrealistic. Addam's Family Values - 5/10 Again, this was better when I was 8. Much better. Yeah. A lot of movies. Apparently I've lived a very deprived childhood, so this is my chance to catch up, now my exams have all finished. Last edited by Mr. Pedantic; November 27th, 2009 at 12:04 AM. |

| Ninja Assassin- Don't let the begining discourage you. It's actually a good movie. Despite the intense gorry violence, it had a good storyline and was very fun and entertaining. Not recomended for couples or families.

| Star Trek (2009) - 9/10 Probably the best trek movie since ST VI i think. The effects were amazing, and i liked that they at least mostly stuck to was we seen in the original series and the movies (blue torpedos, the pulse-like phasers, no real shield effects, ect...). I didn't like a few things about it though, like: Spoiler: But that's just the trekkie in me talking.

| The Orphan: 8/10 Really good movie. Didn't scare me, and they throw in a few trick scares to fool you, but I enjoyed the story, and the twist was unexpected for me. My sister figured it out though.

The only issue I really had with it was many of the fighting scenes were a bit dark, occasionally to the point of being incomprehensible.

| I saw Star Trek last Friday, and I enjoyed it. It will be interesting to see where they go next now that they have an almost completely clean slate with which to work.
