Folks, if this is going to stay in Entertainment you will need to give a good explanation of your rating. From now on we'll be pruning posts without effort, otherwise we'll have to move it over to spam. And I don't want to do that.

So come on. Give me a reason to go out to the movies

Ok the reason why I gave The Chronicles of Riddick 10/10
I gave it a 10/10 because Vin Diesel is a ideal role for Riddick, the film is action packed from the very begining, not a single film I've seen has been able to top this, but hopefully the Doom movie will be even better.
Is that a good effort ?

Chicken Little. 3/10. It has the cliched parents doesn't trust their chid, so child feels neglected and wants to regain parents' trust. And it has a rather pointless introduction of aliens (who look like walking toupees with eyes. I was confused what I was looking at the first time I saw them.) and the movie then rather blantantly rips off War of the Worlds. And the character design wasn't that great. It was hard to tell what most of the characters were without the movie telling you. It gets three for no obvious model errors and occasional (by occasional, I mean 3 or 4) funny moments. In short, I had to go for a family outing, and I think that it would have been funner if we played with the scarab beetles from the Mummy.

Chichken Little
6/10

same O , same O

but I like seeing the old stories on the big screen
big plus was the Fish in the water suit....(what a riot)

and that whole begining part with Chicken Little making his way to school dispite the obsticale of being small... It mad being short cool

Even better...I loved the sound track...the movie was nothing new...but it was good trip down singalong lane....

Just picked up a couple of DVDs so...

The Matrix: Revolutions- The bad guy accidentaly saves the world, again in a Keanu Reaves movie. Overall it's a pretty good film, I can understand why fans of the original wouldn't like it though. The mystery was gone and the focus was changed and some people loved the matrix for it's focus and it's mystery and enigma. We all had in our heads what we thought would happen and what we thought lead up to this and the storyline just weant off on a tangent from anything most people had imagined. Despite the change, I enjoyed the film, good fight sequences, good originality, a sense of fantasy in a realistic setting (the anime look of the fight scenes, only without the excessive dialog standing around scenes) An ending that seemed happy enough.

7.5/10, it could have been better, but it was still good

While I'm at it I'd do best to reveiw the other film I watched rather than repost
Stealth- Forget the name and enjoy the fun. The only plane you'll see in this film that looks remotely stealth bomber like is the UCAV/EDI. Now to take up what EDI means, I think they liked the name eddy and needed a few words to throw together to make it into a once or twice used short name, and those words are... (drumroll) extreme... deep... invader. The stupidity! ahh well it's only used 5 times and the rest of the film you just hear the callsign tinman and the word ucav. Ahh well, nows not the time to sweat the small circuits. This film is an action film, it doesn't require a college degree to watch it and is over all just something to sit back and enjoy while you forget about the world of the real. Ignore the purple and blue lighting in the computer room, the sucky rock song by incubus that's played twice by the film, and the fact that stealth in the film is no longer acheived by shape of the planes, but by some sort of easily damagable plot device, that will explode, and will, leave you in the middle of north korea with a broken leg. Okay, enough complaining, time to say what I liked about the film. It's a near future, retelliing of a space odyssey 2001 with jets and a twist. You'll see Jessica Beil in a bikini aswell as bouncing on a yoga ball, lots of looking down the shirt scens, so on and so forth, so you get a good veiw. Jets, jets are cool in themselves, they fly fast, the shoot guns and fire missiles, and generaly blow things up. A political plot, yes, in the background there is a struggle in washington going on about what to do with this rogue fighter and a situation dealing with the russians. Half-decent acting, it's not great, but it's not bad enough to take you out of the story. Fight scenes, in the air we see some spectacular jet fights and on the ground we get to see a gunfight in an airplane hanger aswell as several skirmishes between Jessica Beil with a broken leg and a pilot's personal uzi versus several North Korean Snipers aswell as normal soldiers. It's mindless, but it's fun

7/10
