It's a good thing nobody was looking at him when he said that. He looked nutz holding nothing in his lap and spinning around on his chair with that grin on his face.

he looked even stupider when he saw having sex with #6, and Starbuck walked in on him, and saw him and no one else

Cylons are not human. Cylons are nanotechnology engineered from the molecules up to mimic humans. They are in fact synthetic humans.

That has been mentioned a few times in the show. They look humans and they bleed and have organs but under a microscope its all nanotechnology.

Look at the Cylon Raiders,it is either a synthetic organism or it is a bioengineered creature. Starbuck called it a insect.

I am intrigued by this whole gid angle tha tthe Cylons have going.

Its like the Cylons have gone to tremendous effort and research to recreate themselves as humans right down to mimicking the cells.

But why do this? Unless they are trying to prove a point.

I noticed in the recent episode the Cylon male that was ejected out of the airlock thought he had a soul.

It seems as if the show is exploring what exactly is it to be human and what defines us as human? Cylons mimic us in every detail and bodily function but they arent human, and that is what I think they want above all else. They are perfect reproductions of humans, they mimichumans and can do anyhting a human can do...,but they arent human.

The interesting thing is, if you can't distinguish between artificial and real emotions but still think that there are no moral implications with destroying artificial humans don't you give up the values that make you human?

Excellent point. Further, if the machine cant be distinguished from the human and the machine has all the humans emotions can it still be called a machine or is it now a lifeform?

I recall #6 saying that man did not create the cylons, the cylons think god used man to be the instrument of their creation.
