I've suspected that since Ellen came on board, at the end of the episode 6 asked baltar and he said, I'll never tell, I'll never tell, so it's a pretty good guess that she is.

...If the Cylons all have an interconnected network, then they must lie when there is no point really, Six being surprised to see the other Six, and don't tell me "she disconnected herself". If she was ever "networked" with the other Cylons they all would have known she was on Pegasus even before she was jailed. The borg queen was a singular representation of the whole, your right, but she was still their leader. The borg did not wander about the Delta Quadrent randomly, The borg have no individuals and therefor cannot have been given commands to do anything, so if the borg had no leader then they would have had no purpose but to wander the galaxy and absorb new humanoids and technologies into their collective. When the Borg Queen dies, the Collective is in disarray. The Cylons would have to have had some motivation to attack the Humans after so long. Their "prophet" or voice of god would be their leader, for if he hears his god or no, he still instructs them, in the name of a deity.

They receive commands directly from their god through the network. The new 6 is a renegade that dissconnected herself along time ago as described in the episode guide for season 2. She disconnected herself long before pegasus and was veiwed as lost to the cylon network, now she has been found and the other 6 is showing sympathy, even someone you dislike, you would feel sorry for if they were beaten, raped and chained up like a dog. And the borg do wander randomly, it has simply come to their attension that the federation escaped capture, that means that somehow the federation is superior to them, and thus they want to have that power which makes the federation superior, they have no knowledge of Q's interference. The queen is simply the voice for the collective, which act as one mind, not no mind, but a singular mind. When people are assimilated their voices are added to the chorus and their minds aswell. At the same time, they are insignifigant, but one voice among innumerus others. The only leader of the cylons is god's will handed down to them via the network. When the bsg sharon was being interrogated by baltar he forced her to gather information from that network. Cylons are being added and taken out the fleet actively, previous knowledge would be irrelevant so, she tapped into the network. The new 6 was never stationed on the pegasus as an agent, she was a rogue that they picked up, perhaps in a ground situation similar to the one where the caprica sharon shot another sharon and they discovered the cylon heritage of their so called freind. The cylons are constantly transmitting data back and forth, which is one of the reasons why baltar's six knows about whats going on and how the rest of the cylons know what she's doing in baltar's head.

And the fact that she "mysteriously" showed up on a passenger ship, without anyone knowing how she got there.

But that would be too obvious. It seems like the writers are going for the unexpected a lot of the time. Maybe Kally... or Hot Dog.

Unhappy Re: Battlestar Galactica

Prefer the characters and plot of the original much more. Obviously technical enhancements make the new one more visually stunning..but alas Starbuck???

I like this Starbuck a lot more. She's much funnier, and Katee Sackhoff carries the character a lot better than whoever played it last time.

OMG, so much to catch up on since I have been gone.

Anyhow, I was wondering what the hell is with Sharron's "I might just shove this cable in my hand, that should work, yEaH" and that allowing her to h4x0r the computers of the cylons? I thought they were the same as humans in every way.

They've still got the internal workings of a Cylon. That's why the Cylon-Human on Ragnar station was being affected by the radiation.

So what they have inner circuitry? Because if they do I think it would be detectable.

They have an advanced form of the nervous system which when configured propperly can connect to older devices. The cylons are organic technology, carbon based. This allows for far more complex systems than any circuit based computer. So it is possible that the nerves in the hand were made reconfigurable to interface with colonial wire technology for sabotauge purposes.
