i didnt like that one very much either...

but, my favorite quote of all time now, was said by Starbuck on Friday, when she was interogating the Cylon:

Starbuck: "What are you doing?"
Cylon: "Praying"
Starbuck: "God doesnt answer the prayers of toasters"

I like the new galactica, its my new favorate sci-fi series, i thinks it seems much more real than a lot of other sci-fi shows do. plus it has the super hot #6 and starbuck but i don't really care for boomer that much.

Its all wrong..
The CAG is weak blonde chick
Adama is an idiot who has all of two facial expressions
Apollo is cool and a good actor
Balthazaar is incredible

And the plan the Cylons supposedly have is laughable.

apparently, this one has the same concept as the original BSG, but it has a different story line...

in the last episode, the Cylon told President Roslin that Adama was really a Cylon, and she semi-believes him... should she? he doesnt seem like much of a Cylon to me

Not the same Concept

True, They are Refugees but that's not the concept I'm talking about

There was never a treaty
Cyons were not creations of humans
STarbuck was not a Woman
Galactica wasn't out of date...thus wasn't why she survived
Pegasus did survive the attack (picking I know)
Cyclons never had human form....This is a stretch of the orignal concept if not breaking it.

The concept is nolonger the same

at this point I don't even know if they're trying to find Earth

i read somewhere that in the new BSG, they might find the Pegasus after making a jump... not sure how reliable that is, though

i think they are trying to find Earth, because in the last episode, Starbuck was telling the President this:

Starbuck: "He claims that he can see the future"
President: "Really? What can he see?"
Starbuck: "He says that we'll find Earth..."

so i guess they are still looking for Earth...

this may sound stupid, but why are they looking for Earth again?

At the end of the pilot Adama tells everyone that he knows where earth is. Friday Starbuck tells the President that the Cylon told her they will find Kobald and from their find the way to earth.

According to old BSG lore, there was the homeworld of Kobald. The Colonists set out and set up 13 colonies. One was Earth.

In New BSG lore it seems the colonists left earth and colonized, after a very long period of time the colonists left Kobald and set up the 12 colonies.

If they find Kobald they can find the way to earth, the last human homeworld.

Earth is a myth, some dont think it really exists. There has been no contact with earth in so long that earth has the same place in Colonial culture that Atlantis has here on earth IRL.
