Best Quentin Tarantino Film

One of the best, albeit most disturbed, directors of our time. He has made five films, and produced one other. So, which one do you think is the best? For the sake of arguement, I am going to include the movie he produced (True Romance) in the poll.

For a refresher, check www.imdb.com

Of all his movies, I loved Pulp Fiction the most, though all his movies are amongmy favourites ever. Oh, and Kill Bill should always be taken as one movie.

Re: Best Quentin Tarantino Film

Pulp Fiction is easily my favorite. Hell, just look at the cast:

Samuel L. Jackson
Bruce Willis
Ving Rhames
John Travolta
Uma Thurman
Harvey Kietel
Christopher Walken

Aside from that, the story is amazing. True Romance is another great movie. So many people look at it and think its some sort of soft chick flick.

You do know he wrote Natural Born Killers, and helped to direct, write, and starred in From Dusk 'til Dawn? Not to mention Four Rooms.

Re: Best Quentin Tarantino Film

I liked Kill Bill Vol. 1, unfortuneately i have not seen pulp fiction, kill bill vol.2, true romance and Jackie Brown.

Plus i don't like when he puts himself in the movie, i know it is different but it is not my forte.

By the way, HERO was NOT directed by Quentin Tarantino, (just a note)

I liked Pulp Fiction alot, but you just can't beat a great story with violence in Kill Bill Volume 2. Excellent.

Re: Best Quentin Tarantino Film

He didn't really direct or produce that, and although I loved the idea of him and Rodrigez teamin' up, I was pretty disappointed with those movies.

kill bill 2 i guess.......

Re: Best Quentin Tarantino Film

Interesting. Most people I know who like either of the Kill Bills only like the first one. Personally I just saw Volume 2 a few minutes ago (saw the first when it was released). I violently disliked most of the first movie, dismissed it as self-indulgent rubbish... loved the second one though. It's like he got the indulgence out of his system and got on with the real core of the movie.

Pulp Fiction is the classic however: excellent cast, dialogue, plotting, styling and interweaving of themes.

the res dogs ... has loads of horse power from the start , with clever writting . eg mr pink ,mr brown ect vg flick :bows:

I voted for Reservoir dogs, great story-telling.
However, I don't like the exaggerated violence in his movies. This guy has a twisted mind, but he is a genius anyway when it comes to moviemaking :)

Pulp Fiction, no doubt: the cast, the dialouges, the sarcasm, the way all the smaller movies fit together, just love it.

He wrote, He stared in it, I think that makes it a Quentin Tarantino Movie.

if he didnt direct Hero, what did he do prodice it? i know his name is on the cover.

i havent seen Resivior Dogs, i hear its really cool. i loved Kill Bill 1 and 2. i love kung fu movies, especilly with flair. he has a way of taking a movie cliche' and busting it wide open.

Re: Best Quentin Tarantino Film

Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill Vo.1 are easily Quentin Tarantino's best movies.
and what about From Dusk Till Dawn ? he co-wrote that with someone. and in no way is he 'disturbed', or what was mentioned earlier. he's one of the most amazing directors of pop culture ever.
