Interesting. Most people I know who like either of the Kill Bills only like the first one. Personally I just saw Volume 2 a few minutes ago (saw the first when it was released). I violently disliked most of the first movie, dismissed it as self-indulgent rubbish... loved the second one though. It's like he got the indulgence out of his system and got on with the real core of the movie.
Pulp Fiction is the classic however: excellent cast, dialogue, plotting, styling and interweaving of themes.

I voted for Reservoir dogs, great story-telling.
However, I don't like the exaggerated violence in his movies. This guy has a twisted mind, but he is a genius anyway when it comes to moviemaking
