DBZ and Pokemon are entry level(crap) anime. Soon the ppl will move on to better things like Cowboy Bebop, Most o the Gundam series,Hellsing , Trigun, Outlaw Star(a trekie must-see IMO),AKIRA(rivals the best US live action films have), Ghost in the Shell movie & series, And of course Neon Genesis Evangelion ( for all you church going folks).

BTW there are diff levels of animation in anime DBZ is an example of a TV series( low # of frames per second I think 30 or so), next up are the OVA(video only release in japan) series with about 60 frames per second, then there are movies with about 80 frames per second. And of course with each level of animation the production value$ rise giving you a beter show all around.

Don't judge all anime based on DBZ Thats like judging all cars based on a used Pinto not all of them are that crappy.

Animes just got repetitive and boring for me. I hate how they just talk for like 15 minutes and then they fight for like only 2 minutes. Its really dumb.

well im 22 and still watch anime. sometimes anime can be better than "real" shows. and yeah my girl tells me that anime is for kids but its not. at least thats what i think.

well i dont see any nerds talking about how tom pwned jerry with a frying pan on last nights episode so its ok on my list
