Improvements for ET
 
There is one thing that bugs me about ET - the voting system. When someone calls a vote to kick someone for a personal grudge, there are always morons who vote yes despite having no knowledge of what that player has been up to in game.

I would like to see an improvement in the next patch that gives people stats on what the individual in question has done in game.

All you would need is three simple additions: -

1) A stat which shows the amount of enemy players killed
2) A stat which shows the amount of TKs
3) A stat which shows the amount of TKs against you

Maybe you could also add a class specific stat which shows how much ammo they've given out or how many revives they've done.

This way a voter can quantify if the guy being voted on deserves to stay or be kicked.

Another improvement I would like to see is experience for driving the train. It's a crappy job because you always get pounded from the side - there should be some incentive for jumping in the drivers seat.

Anyone have any others?

Going prone with either the engineers K43 or M1 Garand is a complete waste of time, that should not be the case. The aim should at least be equal to a prone SMG (it's a rifle for gods sake!).

Sniping...what's the point. The recoil is rediculous and it takes 2 shots for a kill! Either keep the recoil and make it a 1 shot kill, or reduce the recoil (so you can at least see the target after the first shot) and keep it as a 2 shot kill. And give sniping back to the soldiers (Coverts should be doing more useful things like satcheling objectives instead of sniping from the other end of the map!).

Get rid of the damn recoil on the pistols.

Give Field Ops and Medics more weapon choices (K43 & M1 Garand)

I agree with that. Maybe there should be like a special type of weapon that u can only use while ur on the train. (Not an mg42 though) or maybe some kind of health or ammo type thing. Maybe something on the side of the train sorta like how blackhawks have miniguns on their sides.

one of the things i miss in ET is the possibility to look around after you've been shot. this function was available in rtcw, it came in handy to see where the bullet came from and/or how teammates were able to progress because of you're 'sacrifice'...

You can do this in ETpro.

lesiben elf your first point is allready theres its called "highest fragger" u can also press ether alt or ctrl to bring up and little sheet with info about your self ie home many kills and deaths and what with your acc for each weapions how many shots fired etc how much xp u have from each skill and how many more u need befor u go up a level etc etc


god pll should read the manual :O

any way i think power ups would be cool ( but not in copotion settings)

Sniping isn't impossible it is very easy if you know how and you do get a advantage from going prone. To snipe accurately you must wait for the red - green bar on the side of your scope to go green then you weapon is much more stable and you can easily hit the target. The recoil is very heavy, but isn't that bad after you get to the 3rd lvl Covert ops which reduces recoil. If you go prone your gun stablizes much faster and reduces recoil. If get a headshot on most enemies other than medics you will get 1 shot kills.

Sniping requires practice,in part to properly aim and be effective, but also to understand angles and movement. You might be able to get off 3-4 shots from a position before spotted.
Once you are spotted rest assured the opposing sniper will angle you and take you out, or a field ops will paint your location with FFE.

Sniping is movement and distraction.;)
