i dont think it is too bad, it just needs some tweaking. Like making the m1 shoot slower and be more accurate at range, and the voice command suck! There are some good things tho, like the covert ops idea that owns and the xp points. So overall i like it but it could be better, alot better

...and it's FREE... Do you think that if they thought it was an amazing product they wouldn't put a price tag on it? I think they knew it's not as good in many aspects as RTCW; that's why it's free....
Beta test or not, I just don't like what they have done too the game, it's a bit of a screwed up bani mod ( didn't like that too )
There are too much objectives, compass looks like a christmas tree.
Maybe I've got too get used too it but for now I'm playing the old (real) version

It's free because the Single Player game didn't progress like they'd hoped, so they scrapped the idea of releasing Enemy Territory as a retail stand-alone game.
the game has some cool stuff, i love the mobile mg. The tank is a pretty good idea but its easy to hold off. The game is good and i like playing covert ops, planting mines, and throwing satchels all over the place. Good game, could be better, but its something new and RTCW related so me likes
Three of us played on a LAN tonight at my house. It was much smoother naturally and you could actually aim. One of my computers is just a pentium II 400mhz and it ran on there pretty well too.
Until there are more servers with more horsepower on the internet, it will be hard to judge the game.
The game has a lot of elements similar to Battlefield 1942 in it. The limbo map, the fact you can run into some houses and get ammo, etc.
Other cool things.
ET allows you to make multiple PROFILES. Various users can use the same computer yet have totally different keyboard setups, names, mouse speed, resolutionk, etc.
Recording Play. Hit f12 and it starts recording the action. You can review the action and switch angles, etc etc. Pretty neat feature.
NOTE to those who downloaded the "leak" program. This is NOT compatible with the "official" program. We found this out tonight as one computer had the newer program, the other 2 had the "leak" program. The official program could not find the server that was running the "leak" program. The official version will show MANY more servers on it. The "leaker" will show maybe 10 servers.
