space combat population cap
 
iv'e been playing empire at war for a while now and while i enjoy it the thing that annoys me is the space combat population cap. at 20 it's not that good like you might have x number of star destroyers and x mumber of broadside cruisers. and sometimes it's tough if you only have one or two star destroyers and maybe three broadside cruisers and maybe a interdictor. im close to finishing the empire campaign. and it's tough trying to knock out the space forces at alderaan. to take it the normal way not use the death star. and the mission where you have to capture princess leia. it would have been good to have some extra star destroyers. it took me 5 or 6 or more trys to get that mission done. maybe maybe 40 would have been a better number for the space combat cap.

go into all the units xml and look for the population value part. its usually at the end. then set it to 0. that way you can have as many units as you want in space. same with ground units and hero units.

Look for "pop cap mod" over EaW files.

look in factions.xml for the space tatical population cap for the empire and change it to 500000

u have to take the death star to alreanan, the game gives u know choice. and that first deathstar mission ain't hard,all u have to do is destroy the planet
