An Acklay would get owned big time by a Rancor.

Obi Vs Acklay was in the films, not a game. If this game was canon, (as you yourself have said, it isn't) Then Obi probably would own every indigenous species in the game.

For balance sakes though, he can't be that tough. Also, it has already been said he was older.

Besides, why were you letting him take on a Rancor without support?

Maybe Luke will be good against Rancors. He's already got Saber throw as an ability afterall.
