EF2 Random Lag
 

I just purchased EF2 and I have 56k.. I try to join a public multiplayer server and every time I do I lag out 999ping... I am wondering if this will be fixed with a patch or it is just because I have 56k... or if its just server lag and it will be fixed... If you have any ideas on my problems please post.. I am desperate...

Its your modem 56K modems are crap in multi-player games with them you always get a ping of 999

Thanks for sterotyping 56k, but i play many online games fine with my modem... Including EF1 Diablo2 LOD, WC3, and Age of Empires 2... and someother ones i cant think of... But is there anything i can do for this?? its not system lag cause i just upgraded some stuff on my comp too so..

But 56 gay oh i mean K modems are crap when i had 1 i couldn't play any on-line games thats y i now have a cable modem 10X faster

It's EF2 I think. I have DSL and my Ping is far higher than I'm used to. (in the 200's as opposed to the 30's and 40's).

I haven't seen a server with a ping of lower than 150 yet either....

Things aren't looking good.

Does anyone know if it might be fixed with a patch or anything??

I have had a ping of 57 before u might wanna try the server patch for EF2 when i downloaded that the servers i went on seemed to be faster

Okay, where can i get this patch... I have problems navigating the Ritual site...
