Elite Force 3

Well well well...

Before even EF2 has been released, it appears that Elite Force 3 is in the works!

The domain EliteForce3.com is registered to Paramount Pictures (http://www.whois.net/whois.cgi2?d=eliteforce3.com).

Studios are well known to register domains well in advance of upcoming projects.

So - who wants to guess when it will be released, and what kind of things will be in it?

:D

:D

they must assume that EF2 will do very well to do that :P
and we all know it will :)

EF2'll do will if its longer than the last one. I completed it twice in one day, one as male and one as female (to see if anything was different - AND IT WASN'T). And I wonder if EF3 will be rendered with Doom 3 technology. Raven's shown what it can do with Quake 3... i.e. Jedi Knight 2, Soldier of Fortune 2, Elite Force 1...

Just because the domain is registered doesn't mean that the next Elite Force is already in the works. Groups often reserve domains well in advance to avoid someone else trying to sell it to them at 10x the price. Only the popularity of EF2 will dictate if there will be an EF3.

haha, I alone represent 99.9% of all the EF populous, and I like EF2 (though I havn't seen it) thus I COMMAND THEM to make an ef3... I'm still working on ef 4!!

They might just do it so some idiot doesn't register ef3.com and say "YEAH I AM MAKING ANOTHER GAME" and confuse the heck outta people.

BillyBob74656 April 1st, 2003 12:43 PM

If they do make an Elite force 3. I hope they use weapons that actualy exist!

1: Nemesis phaser
2: Type 3 phaser compression rifle
3: Tr 116
4: Klingon Disruptor rifle
5: Romulan pulse rifle
6: Photon granade launcher
7: Dominion poleron rifle
8: Isomagnetic Disintagrator
9: Phased Plasma Rifle
10: Klingon Batteleth

If they looked, shot, & sounded like the real 1's then that would be the best. I mean realy! Tetryon Gatteling gun?

Mr. Matt April 2nd, 2003 01:12 PM

Well, it seems you almost got the EF2 loadout in that little list.

Quote:

Quoted from Totally Elite Force

Phaser
Compression Rifle
Enhanced Compression Rifle
Assault Rifle
Sniper Rifle
Grenade Launcher
Infinite Modulator (Used to kill Borg)
Photon (Quantum?) Burst (Rocket like weapon, not as powerful as the EF1 version)
Radiation Gun (flame thrower like weapon)
Attrexian rifle (lightning gun)
Romulan Disruptor
Klingon Bat'Leth

You might like them :D

As for new weapons... while it might not be canonly accurate, its nice to see some contributions to the Trek universe. The tetryon disrupter was pretty neat, and Raven tried to back it up with some science. A rapid-fire handheld weapon might not suit the Trek universe, but I think it was definitely a good 'n.

Lets just hope Ritual do a better job of EF2 than they did of SiN... Oh the bugs!

Just so u know

It would b completely pointless havin romulin wepons in ef since it was set in the delta quadrent where there is no romulans (coulda made the compression rifle like voyagers though). I agree its annoying not seein the classics but id rather have realism than a hirogen carrying a romulin disrupter. however there was klingon scavengers so y wasnt there kilingon disrupters i mean rather that than the useless scavenger rifles, still if there stupid enough to get stuck out there in the first place then they dont deserve decent guns. Anyway gone on enough scuse the bad spelling
