Unhappy Video Problems

Hello. It seems that I've developed some video problems.
When I start the game it's fine for a while but then the screen goes black.
when it comes back on the screen is covered in bright colored blobs of color
then after it does this a few times the screen goes blank and I have to restart the computer completely to get it working again.
I'm having these problems with both EF2 and KOTOR2
I've also attached an image of this problem to the thread.
Any help would be great thanks and have a good one

I'm afraid you have graphics card problems Data.

Those are called artefacts, they appear if a graphics card driver has some problems or if a graphics card gets to hot.

In your chase it's clearly the graphics card which gets to hot.
You should open up the PC, and clean the graphics card cooler.
Be very accurate and take care what you are touching, when cleaning your graphics card.
Wash your hands before ,with a dry soap (do it even when you think your hands are already clean!!!).
(Shut-down your PC first!)
If you don't clean your card it will burn out anyway soon, so you don't risk much when you don't have guarantee for it any more.

DO not use metallic, wet or solid materials to clean the graphics card cooling devices.
