Usually, people view their favorate ship as the best ship in ST. The best ship is pure speculation, and this forum proves it.

If you can define what you mean as "best" then I'm pretty sure you'd come to an answer. What's the best that you're looking for? If it's best body count then it's probably the borg cube because it's capable of taking out about 75 ships before going down (unless that ship is called Voyager at which time it's about as usful as a screen door on a submarine).

I wasn't asking what the best ship was. I was just stating that it didn't seem like people were posting their favs, and instead were arguing what ones were "better". I like the Vulcan Science ship because of it's color/size/shape, not it's weapons. It's pointless to argue about ship strengths because there are any number of variables to a given situation, so it's impossible to make an accurate comparison.

Sorry about the rant, I'm tired and I can't think of a different way to express my thoughts.

Id never seen a promethuis (sorry if i botched the spelling) your pic is about half filled touugh id have to go for the ship in enterprise where it cam from the 30th cantury and is bigger on the inside than outside :rock:

holy crap. look at the dates. it's been 8 days since kahless's post. man, is it just me, or is the forum going dry. I mean, alot of the answers are similar to one another. we need some fresh ideas.

true man. Am I the only semi hardcore trekkie around here that can appreciate races like the andorians or tholians? I mean come on, nobody has posted their ships besides me. (of course, nobody probably wants to because the fact that they aren't cool enough. anyway, that should've been a poll. good thinking, LT.

My favorate non human ship has got to be Tin Man. He blew away those Rommies. He was probably the precursor to species 8472.
