The best ship to me is the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. It looks the coolest of them all. Especially sisnce it is one of the ships
Jean-Luc Picard commanded. Live long and prosper.
I don't understand why all of you like the Farragut (yes, that's haw it's spelled) it was a named after a Union Naval Commander in the Civil War. (David Farragut) I like the AKIRA class ships. Really! They have FIFTEEN photon torpedo launchers. That can kill almost anything.
Other than the Enterprises, Voyager, and the Defiant, my favorite ship classes are the Akira and the Ambassador. The Enterprise (NX-01) is a copy of the Akira's design.

wrong! the Akira is copy of the Enerprise NX 0-1 as the Enerprise was the 1st starship to be launched

Well in the temporal sense, yes. But, technically the Enterprise is a copy of the Akira, only with the nacelles pointing up at a 45 degree angle instead of down. First Contact came before Enterprise and the Akira was introduced in first contact. Therefore, the Producers used the Akira's design for Enterprise, but you still have a point. However, the NX-01 was NOT the first starship launched. If you are talking about an armed vessel that can warp, a freighter (Fortunate Son) would be one of the first starships launched.
I like the Enterprise-E, but my favorite by far is the Reman Warbird Scimitar featured in Star Trek Nemesis, it could kick the crap out of all the other ships, at the end of the movie it still had 70% of its shields after all the attacks it endured from both the Enterprise and the Romulans, but dont take me wrong, the other ships mentioned in this thread are also sweet. :P
