Is Elder Scrolls V in production?

Some people online think that Elder scrolls V is in production.

"Potentially in 2010..." Does that mean that it is in production or that they're just planning to make it?
Also, some people are saying it's the last game in the series. Is it? I couldn't find any information about that.

Okay, since Bethseda said Fallout 3 this year and possibly an Elder Scrolls title in 2010, I'm inclined to believe that if they're really serious about it, they've at LEAST started the planning stage (And if you didn't catch the implication, yes, 2010 is the hinted at, though rather blatantly I must say, release date).

Now, a good point to make is that just because they're makin' an Elder Scrolls title, that doesn't mean it'll be TES: V. They could throw another TES: Redguard-ish game at us... though it's unlikely.

I've heard nothing about the fifth (if there will be one) game being the last, but you never know.

Personally I think it will be Skyrim, because of their trademarks.

Skyrim would be nice though, but seeing as the game worlds are getting larger in each game, I would be cool to have more than one province open to us in the next game, maybe like Skyrim and Hammerfell or High Rock.

Though Skyrim and Hammerfell would offer a nice contrast in landscape, Skyrim mountainous, cold and ice, while Hammerfell being a hot desert, and stuff in between, hmm the possibilities.

My top choice wouldn't be Skyrim. I really would prefer that it be set in Summerset Isles...their capital city is made of glass, and there is a place called Crystal Tower.

Bethesda on Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls and More - Voodoo Extreme
Hmmm, looks promising, I get the impression that they may be working on it, and aren't ready to talk about it yet. That is just the impression I get though.
I'm also happy to say that a company is working on Fallout mmo which could mean that there will be no mmo for ES V.

I really hope TES V is NOT an MMO, if they want to make an mmo of the Elder Scrolls series, fine, but please make it its own spin-off tittle independent from TES V.

there has been talk about this for awile now. i did alot of searching about it and somewhere i found that its going to be in Valenwood. The map they had of it looked pretty cool.

it was either Valenwood or High Rock, it was awhile since I looked into it. either one looks pretty good, but Valenwood is bigger so thats the one I would prefer, plus wood elves are cool
