| I doubt that very much, I've never heard of it before. Sources? I wouldn't mind if you were right though, both sound cool and Skyrim, which seems to be the most likely province, is too small. Still, E3 comes up early June....maybe, just maybe we'll find something out.

| Read this article. It is speculation, but it has a good point, and now I believe for certain that they are developing it. 5 Things The Elders Scrolls V Shouldn't Do - PC World

| i agree with everything in the article apart from tailoring it to 3rd person i prefer the first person view and it is in keeping with previous elder scrolls games i'm not against having 3rd person view in addition that is equally good as that would appeal to everyone. i think the combat needs to be improved dark messiah of might and magic does first person combat really well for example for example except for all the obvious traps that are put places for you to kill people with. nothing is worse in my opinion than an rpg where you watch from 3rd person as your character kill things when you click on them. much better have a first person view and have control over when you block swing, strike, stab and kick them back. it makes you feel more like you are the character rather than a godlike figure in control of the character. they need to abandon the levelling creatures and artefacts thing as well why when your level 20 are you average bandits all high level wearing glass and deadric armour. you want to be able to kill the things you struggled against at the beginning easily when your a high level. you can still go everywhere but like oblivion you will get beaten down if you venture too far from the track at an early level. its more exiting if all the most valuable items are all in the game from the beginning but the challenge is to great for your character to get them this means that a cunning player may be able to obtain something valuable as a reward for being cunning in the way tackles enemies and or dungeons bit of an essay i hope this game lives up to my expectation |

| I don't mind thrid person or frist there both good views to have depending on your mood. It would suck if developers removed frist or thrid person. |

| I agree, plus having a third person option is good if you want to see how you character is looking wearing whatever armour you find. I wonder if they are going to continue with the gamebryo engine. When oblivion was released the graphics where cutting edge but when fallout was released the graphics looked a little bit behind the times. It would be awesome if they developed it with an engine like the new cryengine 3 the environments would look stunning and they wouldn't have to spend a proportion of the development cycle working on patching and updating there engine which is showing its limitations already. | The Cryengine 3 is really not that impressing. Becuase its just a new engine that is optimised for the ps3 and xbox 360. I don't really care if the graphics are still the same as long as the psysics are improbved to the point that the gameplay feels like next generation upgrade. |

| i suppose im a bit fussy over graphics being on a special effects course i think that great graphics doesn't make a game but certainly adds to the immersion especially if that game involves exploration and adventure. better physics would be nice aswell but instead of bethesda having to spend the time in r&d they could use a solution like the cryengine that has all the tools they need and spend that time working on gameplay and contentYouTube - Crysis - Beautiful Amazonia River Map (DX10 1680x1050 All Max) GTX260(216) Q9550 |

| They'd always add new effects to new games. Thats an expectation that always gets fullfilled where as gameplay dosent and thats what we should be asking for more of instead of the graphics. The ablity to get stoned on skooma and get sick superpowers would make me go out and by the game just for that reason. This is one part of IV that I was disapointed with. They have mushrooms just laying around and they don't even get the player high in gameplay. Then theres a depressing mission of the game where the message is clear. |

| i know cyrodil is supposed to be bigger then morrowind but when i played oblivion it felt smaller due to a number of reasons when you get out into the open in oblivion you can fast travel to all the large settlements and when walking around all the countryside looks similar and as the creatures level with you everywhere is open.. morrowind on the other hand felt much more like an adventure you start out with very little on you map and there's no cop-out fast travel to get anywhere and if you stray to far you get your ass handed to you in morrowind if you set out travelling the places you go through all look different (forest, swamp, mountains, grasslands) and you uncover more of the map you discover new towns.. that's most of the fun hopefully they will try to get this back in tes5 o and drug addictions would be a great addition after they did it in fallout 3 |
