Well I know where the Winged Warhammer is supposed to be so I'll check that out sometime, though a non-quest related question, did OOO make it where you can get Human Blood from elsewhere other then the Dark Brotherhood and that Thieve's Guild quest or only where it could be used for feeding?

I do remember encountering human blood in some areas, but I can't remember where. There may be some in OOO installed locations, or default Oblivion locations that are modified by OOO. Check Necromancer caves, and maybe some undead caves. These are probably where I found them. If I find some when I play Oblivion, I'll let you know.

OK, thanks, though one last question... does doing the Melus Petilius's Armor ruin your ability to do that quest that you need to complete the quests of the daedric lords to do? The one that gives you that book?

Sorry I would have replied sooner but my internet shut off and wouldn't turn back on for some reason. Ok if you have done the quest "Molag Bal" that gives you his mace, then won't be able to do the "A Path of Iron" quest. (The quest for Melus Petilus's armor.) I don't know if it works the other way around though. I'm assuming not. If I'm wrong though you can always type "coc testinghall" in the console and go into the weapons warehouse and get the Mace of Molag Bal if you want it.

To answer your question directly, I'm not entirely sure if it prevents you from finishing the entire Daedric Lord questline. It probably doesn't, you should be ok. Like I said, doing the "Molag Bal" quest before the "A Path of Iron" will only prevent you from finshing, or even starting "A Path of Iron". It shouldn't prevent you from getting the Oghma Infinium/the book you get for finishing all Daedric Lord quests.

Hey just a quick question, When you said that there was an Ayleid ruin that started with V and that was just a door in the moutainside I did TMM 1 and looked for it. I didn't find it but I found another Ayleid ruin with some trolls, orgers and a BALROG! I just want to ask what the exact name of that ruin was, Cause I can't find it.

i know im a bit late to the party

but you dont need to download anything extra to get Hanibal Traven's armor, once you complete the last mage's guild quest and gain ownership of the arch-mage's quarters, just go check out one of the chests up there, the full set of armor is there along with a nice staff/shield (arch-mage's defense)

im using OOO 1.33, but for some reason im having a bit of an issue with the heaven's fury claymore, it must not be finding the texture for it because whenever i equip it its just all purple like when it can't find the textures. I tried re-installing OOO in case it hiccuped before, but it didnt change anything. Is there a fix somewhere i can get, or an alternate place where i can just download or copy/paste the textures to (like, what is the folder name for the claymore in my data file?)? Seems like a nice sword and since i cant get rid of it anyway, might as well be able to see it when i equip it, not that i use weapons mostly (pure mage with hand to hand as a backup)

also when doing the last thieves guild quest, apparently i spaced out and didnt grab the key next to Ocato's bed, i forget if its possible to sneak back in there, and id rather not console unlock the chest in sideways cave, anyone know offhand before i try to get back?

also, completing the path of iron appears to keep you from doing molag bal's quest, as you just get an icy feeling from the statue and he won't talk to you, i think the best way might be to start the path of iron quest, get all the armor, but before going to complete it, drop all the armor on the ground, and then do molag bal's quest, then you might be able to pick the armor back up and finish a path of iron

what i did was just console-progress through molag bal's quest becuase i didnt have a save more than an hour or so before i finished the path of iron, although i guess i could try and find which save it was and go back, just to see if that works

as an update, yes, you can sneak back into Ocato's chamber, the same way you went in the first time, you still need a high acrobatics or to have kept the boots of springheel jak to do this (need to make the jump up one place to hit some switches) but you can still get in, got my key, and im waiting in the fireplace to see if ocato comes back in so i can check on the rest of his armor possibly.

well, i was in the imperial battlemage's chambers for a 24 hour period, undetected the whole time, nobody appears to use that bed, and when you exit through the fireplace again you dont get to do the cool drop, it just puts you on the ground

ill go ahead and keep sitting here for awhile longer though, i found a nice perch on top of one of the pillars just behind the bed, so i have a nice view of the room but won't have to keep casting my chameleon spell

Hey guys great thread i know its very old but i have learnt a lot!

I have been trying to complete the Slavers and Smugglers Quest.

On the slavers side i went to every Smuggler cave and pretty much cleared them all, i received a journal entry that i killed all 3 smuggler leaders and that i should speak to the slavers and maybe we will be friends.

I have attempted to speak to a lot of slavers including the two named and the slaver leaders and i cannot seem to trade or discuss anything further with them.

Is there something i am missing?
