Offtopic(alot): @Ihaterednecks The only Japanese anime i like is Naruto. I like it because of the storyline and hate it when they used over emotional faces. I hate most anime because most of the time its all about "How close can we get to seeing this girl naked and how many times can we fit in some swearing?"

Morrowind's combat does suck, though. It's not really dependent on Player skill, it's depended on character skill, while that is one of the many fundamental concepts of an RPG, that doesn't make it any less boring. It could have been handled much better.

The Dunmer, the Oblivion Dunmer at least, do annoy me. They have loads of crazy fanboys thinking they are teh 1337 evil race, while the Elder Scrolls lacks a pure Black and White perspective. I'm a Nordic Man myself.

Lastly, most of what StarWarsGeek says is . . subjective. I believe the Morrowind's main story, overall was good, but could still be weathered down into a cliche "Chosen One saves the world," with just a lot of other factors thrown in. Oblivion's was similar, you weren't exactly a chosen one, but you were close. Another plus for Oblivion is that I believe more time was spent on the Main Quests actual quests, they were more atmospheric, more cinematic, just better orchestrated. A good example is the Mythic Dawn Cult Sequence, very well done, in my opinion.

Ah, and Oblivion's music was better IMO. Countless times I've played the Morrowind menu selection music on the guitar, on the piano, and rewritten new versions of it, but the Oblivion title music - fully orchestrated and it used part of the Morrowind theme - kicks ass!

although i agree oblivions music was more cinimatic, i liked morrowinds music more. it was so much more unique.

I played quite a bit around the time that the 360 came out. But after Oblivion released. I started playing Oblivion and I never went back. I still think that Morrowind is a great game, but if I had to chose, I would pick Oblivion over Morrowind every time.
