1.1 Patch for Direct2Drive version?

The 1.1 patch is incompatible with the Direct2Drive version? and then they provide nothing else? Am I, a paying customer, cut short of customer support? I hope not. If anyone could provide helpful information i'd appreciate it greatly. >_<

Well, it should work.

A D2D version? I never heard of that, but nonetheless, they have the same system files, and I can't see a reason why it won't work.

I've heard of this being a problem with other games in the past. I think Civilization IV is one of them. The standard patch wouldn't work for people who bought the D2D version.

I'm not sure what exactly is different about the D2D and retail CD/DVD versions of games. I imagine it has something to do with how the copy protection works considering the D2D version doesn't require a disk to play it.

This is one of the reasons I'll never buy a D2D game.
