I used ~TCL to go through the wall and once I got through, the count wont even talk to me. I can't complete "Aid for Bruma" and my game has kind have come to a hault. Is there anyway I can restart this quest or get the count to like, talk to me?
For 5 grand soul gems you'll need to do alot of lockpicking.. of "Very Hard" locks..in the mages guild halls in each town. I usually saved my game before trying each one. So buy alot of lockpicks and have at it. They won't all be empty but usually there is 1 in the display cases that is (at least you can use them to recharge your enchanted weapons!). You can also buy one from the magic store in the market district, not "discount spells" the one close to "The best defence" 2 stores to it's left as you face it.
You can find 4 of the 5 nightshade leaves in a food store in the market district of the imperial city, can't remember what it's called, something like "The right ingredients" or something. I snuck in and stole them, (after finding more south of the west weald first, that's where i got the rest of mine).
Garlic is easy to find, find alchemists and most will sell you some.
Blood of an argonion is a pain but not so bad, i stabbed the one training in the arena district (outside the arena).I payed the fine for doing it, and got all of my stolen goods back from the evidence chest. It's either that or find one out in the wilderness to stab (or kill if need be)
Blood grass is found only in the planes of oblivion, and it's everywhere. So for gods sake don't complete the main quest before you think about curing your vampirism. :P
(I have the xbox 360 version and i turned the blood grass in first after handing in the soul gems, didn't have a problem with the old woman)
And well the "powerfull" vampire will be pointed out to you with a market on your map, he's not so tough

Ok, i'm having this problem but I don't see any lever/door/device that leads to his hidden chamber. Does anyone know how to get into it?
She opens it for you, she should lead you outside and open it herself. Try talking to her if she just stands there.

If you guys want, i can make a mod that places some vampire-disease healers in the game, which sell potions to get cured.
Though i want to make it to much cheat-mod so the price can be fairly high...
I have a different problem altogether... I have completed the vampire cure quest and recieved the cures from the witch.... The problem is that when I drink the potion I does not cure me at all!!! I still cannot go out in the day time, or I toast.
I have given the cure to the counts bint, and she dies, but it does nothing on me... am I doing something wrong or is this another error in the game, and is there a sollution. I have tryed different things but nothing works.
I'm not sure if this is the case, but try driking some blood before downing the potion.I believe the potion only cures you one "level" of vampirism,so if you haven't drank any blood in a few days that may be your problem, but again,i'm not sure.
Pardon me if this bumping an old topic, but i just can't seem to find help anywhere else.
If I can get help on this issue my activity here will more than double.
You all seem very knowledgable, so please here my question.
After the old woman tells me she needs 24 hours to complete the potion, i go and rest in a bed somewhere and wait for nightfall. Afterwards I skip over to her house, and find that shes down in the basement. I waited, and waited and waited. She will not emerge from the basement. I cant quick wait in her house because im tresspassing, and i cant wait outside or ill die.
How do i get this women out of her hole. I want those potions.
Im playing it on the 360. If that helps any.

I had identical problem, when i came to her house she was not there. But then i tried to fasttrevel to a near location and back to her house so the time had fly by, and she was there at around 8.am. Hope it will help you as it helped me.
Okay, i'm having problems with the same vampire cure quest, but my problem is not one i've read on the first two pages of this.
I'm a vampire at the moment and i've done everything that's been suggested to me. I'm in the old lady/witches house with 5 grand stones. She gets out of bed and asks "have you got the stones" (of which i do, but..) The only Speech option i can reply with is "No, not yet" or something like that. and then she replies.. "oh what a shame, etc" then goes back to bed.
I've got 5, but 2 are not empty it seems. This is where i got my 5 stones.
1. i went to those caves just next to her house, at the end of the caves there was a skeleton guard and on a rock formation there was a grand stone. I took it and spent about 20 minutes searching that place for another stone or two, but no more.
2,3 and 4 i got from the Arcane Univeristy. Picked the lock and stole them.
5th one i did the same but stole from the Mages guild in Chorrol.
So i've got a total of 5. 4 are stolen, 1 isn't. 2 of them however aren't 'Empty'. How can i empty the stones without losing them.. cos i've put the power into some crap staff i found, but then the stone dissapears.
