I've got a very annoying problem, if anyone could help i would be very grateful. I've collected the 5 [empty] grand gems and most of the other ingredients, too but I can't talk to the witch because I accidentally burgled her earlier on in the game. Now she just summons monsters and won't even talk to me. How can I get her to like/talk to me.
I found a solution to my problem. I just knocked the witch unconscious (easier said than done) and when she woke up she had nothing against me other than I was tresspassing in her basement.
Luckily I havent reached far in the game (at least I dont think so) and I got a few good peices of good armour and weapons I dont mind losing . So I think I will just start over, now I know how to simply avoid being a vampire Thnx everyone this is some the best help I ever got.
I got the Dark Brotherhood Vampire to change me (yep that's instant vampirism, no disease). I asked him how to get the cure and I assumed the count he spoke about would already have a cure and that I could just see how it went and get rid of it if i get fed up of sucking blood. How wrong I was, I nearly stabbed the little old which when she asked for 5 grand soul gems..
Don't get me wrong, the attribute bonuses and skills you get from being a vampire are great, but having to feed pisses me off.
(it's not easy being a vampire, is it guys?)
I have 2 grand soul gems so far, and she's gonna ask me for more stuff when I finally get 5?
Ok well after she gives me the cure i'm slitting her throat.

Well now that i've researched a few areas over again i know the locations of most soul gems and where you can buy some.At the Chorrol mages guild hall you can find 2 to 3 grand soul gems in the display case next to the shelf in the room to your left.2 grand soul gems can be bought from the High elf usually at the counter to the left in the Cheydinhal Mages guild hall. That should be all you need for the soul gems.Oh and to remove a charge from a soul gem select it in your inventory then just use it on any enchanted weapon that needs charging.
Another bug I have had people report is that when going to take care of the Count, the lady you talk to does not go get the count like she is supposed to. If that happens, go outside, and to your left you should come across the Count’s hidden chamber.
Ok, i'm having this problem but I don't see any lever/door/device that leads to his hidden chamber. Does anyone know how to get into it?
