Go up to a sleepiing person and hit your activate key (you should see a lil vampire head on the person before you do this) a menu will pop up and there should be 2 options, feed or talk (I think...), and feed and your good. GL

*bump* *tip*

feed on members of mage guilds of tramps, they are not easily woken up, unlike imperial guards or other guards who automatically wake up and attack, but this depends on your sneak level, also 1 feed should last you a day of normal mode, then u will need to feed again so time your daily outens wisely, you dont want to be stuck trespassing in the middle of no-were in broad daylight because you can fast travel or wait.

I must have caught vampirism during some recent vampire bashing. I am not a vampire yet but the next time I go to sleep I will get the vampire dream and wake up dead. Fortunately I saved it just before going to bed. I'm not keen on being a vampire, it sounds like a pain in the arse. Is there anything I can do now to prevent it or is it too late? If I go to the chapel in Chorral and pray can I avoid becoming a vampire?

Thanks

Nick

You can cure your disease (Porphoric Hemophilia) before it becomes full-blown Vampirism, so you still have a chance Nick.

I've been through this, I was a vampire for nearly half of my game because I'd start one quest after another and just kept getting side tracked off of the Vampire Cure quest, feeding off of Mages guild members and Beggars mainly.

Here's the quest, if I miss a step, someone please correct me. SPOILER AHEAD:

Spoiler:
1: you get vampirism.
2 : Talk to a friendly vampire, the guy in the Dark Brotherhood or talk to one of the Count's assistants in Skingrad. They'll both refer you to the Count of Skingrad himself, who is a vampire and has been working on a cure for his wife.
3 : You're refered to a witch lady out in the boondocks. She asks for quite a few things
a; 6 Cloves of Garlic
b; 5 leaves of Nightshade
c; 2 shoots of Bloodgrass
d; 5 Grand Soulgems (which ARE a pain in the arse to get if you are a low level person)
e; Ashes of a very powerful vampire, which she'll tell you about.

4 : after all that, she'll tell you to wait a while, and then she'll have the potion ready. Its enough for two doses, one for you, and one for the Count's wife. Take it back to Skingrad

5 : Talk to one of the Counts assistants and they'll take you to the count in a hidden passage. Talk to the Count, give him the potion, watch the wife die, and viola! Quest over, drink your portion and you're cured.

Next time you'll be more careful before contracting Porphoric Hemophilia... and believe me, you can get it twice...

Is it possible to complete the main quest without contracting Porphoric Hemophilia?

I'm thinking of restarting my whole game because of this damn disease...
