Yeah you level up really fast if your major skilss are skills that you can't avoid using, like acrobatics, athletics, blade (if warrior type) or destruction (if mage type) etc. Only major skill contribute to levelling btw.

Yeah. I played the Arena alone and beat it. I got to LEVEL 5.

If you want to know a super easy way to beat the Grand Champion click the spoiler!

To beat the Grand Champion easily do this. Go up to him and talk to him, pick the other option besides "Kill the Gray Prince!" There should be another one. Click it and he will tell you about his father. He will then send you to a mountain fortress to meet his father and find out about his birth. If you bring back his father's journal you will find out the man you fight in the fortress was his father, and he was a vampire. The GC will give you some of his training. It adds a permanent +3 to Blade, Block, and Agilility. Then when you fight him he will charge at you then stop in the middle of the Arena. He will the tell you to kill him and he will not fight back. He will say "I want you to kill me I cant live with bieng a beast." So just swing away and kill him. I put the difficulty slider alllllll the way up to! And I punched the shit out of him! Got me to level up!

The Dark Brotherhood guy actually visited me after I killed the Gray Prince. I suppose that because I had found out about this birthrights it made it inhumane to kill him. I joined anyway! I also found out something that Rufio did to deserve what he got from the Brotherhood, instead of killing him while he was sleeping I talked to him and he explained a lot. Sounded like he really did deserve it.

Ha, nice. I've made three characters so far (since I will lose all my progress once my PC copy gets here), and all of them have somehow ended up either getting thrown in jail or having me run for my life from the guards, even if I didn't do anything wrong. Heh.
