E-Mail Sent To Me From Unknown Person

Hey folks. An email was sent to me from some one. I figured it was spam. At the end of the message it said something like "if you wish to be removed" and then it said the persons e-mail. Then it said the subject should be "Remove". I then sent a message to the unknown person saying "Remove me right now." However, I recall the e-mail having Wild West content in it...or maybe someone in the Wild West community sending it to me. If you are that someone that I sent the email to, then I apologize. I thought it was spam.

errrrmm Nothing was sent from the mod team recently...

And btw unless you know who the sender is on a spam email, NEVER use the Remove prompt. It only confirms that your email address is a valid one that can receive more spam.

Can't you look in your Sent box to see who your reply went to?

Nope, I deleted that as well. I like to keep things as organized as possible. But I think I recall a name in the address being "Alex". And if they send me more spam, I can always make the spam threshold stronger on my email account.

solid it would not have come from tina , she would have thanked you dearly. however on the subject ..i get 3 netsky viruses chucked at me every day .. but my isp cleans and deletes the file.... i did what you did n replyed it only made them mader....some wacked out kids , glue sniffer , half witt..... did she replie to you m8 ? tina i mean ?

that was so kind of you m8... shows the true quality of your mate ship , to me ...ya have a big heart mate ...and iam going to try and get tina playing online with us all , she has adsl .. and i have a strong feeling i can talk her into joining , as rose ,would have made her feel welcome ... but she must be taking it hard or maybe his funeral . as i havent heard anything for 2 days ...right out of character...... cheers again
