Unhappy "Spooge driver not found"

i need some help on dark crusade. there is this message but i have windows vista and video card: geforce 8600m gs. it's impossible.! it must work! mahh....the message says "control directx 9.0c"...ehm i have vista and it's impossible that the directx 9 are installed. what can i do?

i have found the way to make dark crusade work!!!!! (on windows vista with nvidia graphics card...good!

If you install the 1.11 patch and the 1.20 it seems to fix this issue.

well, as you can switch between a dx10 and dx9 run in vista... it shouldn't pose a problem

Can anyone help ? im about as computer litterate as a chair, ive just bought Dawn of war and cant download it, it says "spooge driver not detected and make sure directx is installed..."
My computers about 3 years old , i heard that mite be the problem.
help anyone plse ?

Well my pc is from about 2002 and it has no problems running it.

Are you sure you have directx 9.0c installed?

If you aren't sure, go to start>run
type in dxdiag and this should tell is a few things about your directx

The combine has not been forgotten

you have to "manipulate" a driver file in DC folder, read the private message
