better gameplay?

My comp has been getting some major choke on a lot of skirmish games that involve AI and there are always long loading times not to mention loading after games in the campaign!

I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction of what kind of graphics cards/video cards/RAM or any other things i might need that could help me out?
Or should i just go out and buy a new computer or labtop and if so does anyone know any really good ones?

I have the same prob. What weird is that i have everything on high and it is really fast (even on 8vs8 games), dead bodies on high and everything but when i play a skirmish it takes for ever to load i dont know why though is it somthing to do with the game?. Or is it that the card sucks.

It actually happens to everyone, its just the game. Dont get a new comp or anything im sure your fine.

Yep happened to me to yesterday. There was this mad chokepoint & I was defending it wit a landraider, 2 lemans & 3 basilisks & there were LOADS of guys in it & i paused & then when i came back after 10 mins & unpaused it it stayed paused for like 5 mins & then when it finally restarted it really lagged so I just quit & then it took anouthe 5 mins to load the post game screen.

yeah, when theres just lots of guys swarming and fighting it lags... happens to all comps and video cards

no worries, happys to us all, it cos when you play multi, its all sent to a server, but in single, its all on your pc
