How can I change the game speed in single player campaing?

Run the game in Dev mode (add the "-dev" switch to the end of a shortcut) then when you're in game hit Ctrl-Shift-' (for the UK version, possibly @ or ~ or some other character for other languages) and then type "setsimrate(#)" and hit enter (where # is a speed - 12 is about normal speed, higher is faster)

Just don't use the same shortcut to play online - dev mode either stops you playing online or limits you to playing against other people using dev mode, I can't remember which.
