Tau mod probs
 

Yeah well this is the first DoW download i've done, i downloaded the file, transferred it to the correct computer, installed it. The DoW icon says that the Tau mod is enabled, but when I run it, it is just the same as normal, I cannot select the Tau option for an army. The DoW of war disk i have is the original one, I got it when it first came out, so it's not the "Game of the Year" ediotion or anything like that.

Forgive me for being stupid, this question may be simply solved. Anyway all help will be appreciated.

Tau is 1.30 only.

You have to patch up to at least 1.3 to play most now.
patch to 1.01 then 1.1 then 1.2 then 1.3.

Oh right ok, well is there any place where I can get that without having to by a new edition thingy?

And if there isnt, is there any other mods that are compatible with what I have?

Just reinstall dow to a differnt directory. and patch to 1.3 and your good to go. Tau mod is NOT worth it though in my opinon

Kk is there any Mod at all that i don't have to upgrade my DoW disk or anything like that - i can just download it and play it?

I dont have a patch, just the original game. errr... Is there a problem with that? ='D

patch up to 1.3 and download the tau mod. Then play
