A Borg-Ork??? Not exactly what I had in mind, but the more I think about it, the cooler ist sounds. By the way, if you think of the Mirror Universe, I think that if the Terran Empire would still exist, maybe their Assault Troops would look like the Sapce Marines (in Star Trek terms: some kind of Human Augmenst with Borg-Nanoware)

ok, i was thinking about combining Battlestar galactica and dow but i knew it would never work, star trek (like galactica) is about space combat, dow is a ground based rts, sorry, but i also think this mod might no gather enough momentum...

No Im kidding....Argh....Honestly ? Dow and Star DREK could never be,ever connected in any way.About the terran empire.......It would be cool to see Ig type of units with signs of Tau empire armor..Something mixed.
okay, seems that we've a misunderstanding here. It wasn't the idea to try to get the ships into DoW, I've seen this in Mods for StarCraft and Civilisation and for me it didn't really work.
I just wanted to suggest to try to remodel (if that is possible) some of the land vehicles and troops to look more Star Trek-like and as said before especially the Tau could fit very good here because their tanks already have some aspects I associate with Starfleet
I dont know.This whole idea seems a little blurry to me.I mean to remodel them to be like Start trek is silly.I like the way it is.Thats why Warhammer has its own history...so many races.I agree by putting for example like Daemon Hunters or Witch Hunters in the game because they were there frm the very begining.If you are unhappy with the way Warhammer DOW and all its expansions are made buy A Star Trek game rofl.
The real question here is the infringement rights!!(Anyone remembers the halo mod!?) As these are really two different universe and copyrights to begin with.
Problem is, that there's only New Worlds, where you can play with armies instead of starships. I like both universes, but always just in space tends to be a little boring. I just thought that DoW could be a solid mod-basis for a news aspect of Star Trek (never said anything about combining the two, I wouldn't like that either)
