Ok im not ganna lie I AM A NOOB at this i wanna learn how to mod DOW but cant find anything that teachs so if one of you guys could kinda of help me with this and sort of be my mentor of this would be very cool :)

when you ssay mod dow what do you mean what do you want to mod in dow?

Start at the beginning, take small steps, have lots of patience and persistence and you will get there eventually.

First make sure you have the latest patch.

Download the modtools and read, re-read and read again the readme and all other ducuments.

Set up your own My_Mod mod folder are described in the readme.

Copy the attrib folder from My_Mod folder into your mod folder and your ready to go.

Just make small changes at first to get the feel of how the AE works and keep trying more and more ambitious things.

Don't be too ambitious at first though as you will surely fail and it could put you right off modding.

Thanks Guys manly what i want to do is incress the pop of inf and vehicles and get rid of the thing thats stops you form haveing two tanks and like one monolith i wanna be able to have as many as i want so how long u think it will take me...:(

u no there are tons of mods that alrdy do that....go look on the site...or just make your own watever floats your boat...

Thats Ture But when i try to install them they dont wanna work dont know what im doing wrong they just dont wanna work or the mini mods ither

Well that'd have to do with putting the files in the right place, think's like the mods files should all go in your Dow Dc Directory.

That, and you might not have fixed your Game Manager yet.

If you're having a hard time setting up the files, just get Corsix's mod tools. They are way better than Relic's tools since they setup the required folders for you. Here's a link: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=119918
