I don't think you can do Transparency with a banner... else it could seem like it is being held up by nothing..

i meant for badges, so you can have crosses or circles, not just a 64x64 square

Ohh... For badges (I completely forgot about them). Uhm.. I don't know how to do transparency in .TGA format, however, I find it works if you colour the shoulder pads in the colour you'd have transparent.

Am I the only one to notice that badges do not appear on any of the new DarkCrusade empire's units? There's no point to having badges as they don't appear anywhere!!

Is there a liklihood of this to be added in a patch or anyway to mod this?

any mods that are for 1.51 will not work with dc, cause dc is a stand alone i dont no bout badges and banners ill have to try.....

The units don't have badges or banners? so is their shoulder/whatever blank, and the captains/whatever that held the banners not have one? Cause that sucks.

the only tau unit that ive noticed that doesnt have the badge is the fire warrior the rest have the badge. The reaso they have no badge is because all firewarriors deosnt matter what spet you are from have the firecaste badge on there sholder pad. The fire caste is the Tau ground froce military. The other castes are list and what they do.
Fire-Tau ground force military
Air-Tau Airforce military
water-they make sure that the socidy is functioning smoothly
earth-Builds for the tau they make the tau empire
ethreal-is basically the government
those are all the castes each have there part in building the tau empire.

ya, dont make a thread like this again, just talk about it in the main thread of DC. Badges n banners do now show on Necrons, even if u change them. Banners work on Tau but badges do change on them either.

karkinelite that has Nothing to do with this post, and you must not have DarkCrusade as no DC Empires sport badges and the Necron banner may not be changed as it is a hologram.

There is the Tau symbol on many units, yes, but there is no way to change that to anything else. Such as the 200+ badges I have either downloaded or custom-made. The thing that gets me is that there is plenty of room on both Tau and Necron models for a badge to be placed however it's not do-able.

Also, the Earth Caste are the engineers and society-caste and Water are primarily diplomats though some are also Artisans.

Is it possible to transfer the badges, banners and saved army color schemes to Dark Crusade? I have tried so many different options but nothing has worked.
