| all right, lots of prog's can save as .tga but it may not be an actual selectable save so just type it in after the name (example.tga) and check the file to see if it saved as example.tga.jpeg then it is not tga compatable. there are 2 places you can put the files 1. is Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War\badges and dawn of war\banners the other is Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War\data\art\badges and banners if they do not work check the control munu by presing ~ on the front munu screen use page up & down to fint the line that says somthing like example.tga not the right pixle size, then go and do the proper change in you painter to the size indicated.

| I heard that for a banner to have transparency it must be saved as a 32bit targa with an alpha channel, I cant save as a targa with more than 16 bit colour...

| i forgot to find the pixel size agian sorry, i think it comes up in the command menu (~) when a badge or banner will not work as somthing like example.tga not ## by ## pixles. transparency is transfered useing the blackest black i use pitcure it 9 and i do transparency as normal after a save and a in game load if i reload the pic all the transparent bits are dead black im not shour about alpha channel iv head it alot but if iv used it i did not know.

| Are you sure the badges and banners are the right size? IT wont work unless they are exactly 64x64 pixles for the bdg, and 64x96 pixles for the banner. The way I make my bdges and banners is I make it in paint first. I make the size of the page the right pixles (just by dragging the corner of the canvas, it will tell you what the pixles are at the bottom of the screen) I make what I want, then save it. I then open photoshop and open what I've already created on the same size canvas. I then go and make all the parts I want to make see threw (trasparent) by making a new channe., then taking black and clouring over the areas I do not want to show up ingame, then I save it (without compressing) then wha-la, im done ![]() (if that helped plz give me rep by hitting the scales in the top right of my post box)

| That kinda confused me, can someone please post up a screenshot from photoshop with the save screen so i can see what needs to be ticked etc and maybe one of a photoshop file with transparency so i can see what that should be like? Thanks in advance, Col.Garelli |
