adding new squad
 

hi i was wondering how to add a new squad because i tried a few thing like copying a other squad en then changing the unit type and requirements , etc.(thing that must be changed) only now my game will start up but after intro movie(that i skip) it closes/crashes.

anyone got an idea?

hi agen just like to say that that happens to me when the update/MOD?patch or wateva it is hasnt installed the full settings hope it helps

no everything is installed right cuz this is a second mod im makin only i want to make this one more advanced if u get my drift, so the previous version did work only when i tried adding a new squad it went bad so, and i dont know why, what i did was aspring_sp_champion_squad (think it was called that)
change size from 1 to 4 and at the squad train button to chaos_temple and i added aspiring champion icon because it didnt have an icon and that all i did so i really dont get it (well i did more but i know that work from my previous version). but thanks for the input m8 :)

np i gettin sumwhere wiv those tools u told me to download anyway but when i get to ae i want to make a deamon prince a squad for constructing but cant find the file needed in ae to modify that do u need to use object editor or sumfin

Probably because your my_mod folder (or whatever you have called your mod) is based on wxp, if so:

The daemon prince sbps lua is in w40k not wxp so just copy and paste it from modtools/datageneric/w40k/attrib/sbps/races/chaos/ to modtools/datageneric/wxp/attrib/sbps/races/chaos/

well i didnt get any error log thats the weird part but if someone has or know a tutorial to making a squad that would be helpfull because then i can check out what they say i should do and what i did.
