Warhammer 40k mission editor problem

when i go to save my map in the mission editor it says something along the lines of "The selected folder is outside of all known scenario folders. Mission Editor can only write to folders that are under the root folder." then it gives me the root folder (C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War) and the folder that im trying to save it in, which is exactly the same, it just has the name of my map .sgb after it. what am i supposed to do?

Re: Warhammer 40k mission editor problem

you have to save it in either of these folders:

For Winter Assault: Dawn of War/Wxp/data/scenarios/mp
For Dawn of War: Dawn of War/W40k/data/scenarios/mp

if they are single player, then change MP to SP

Re: Warhammer 40k mission editor problem

you mean you want it to snow or you want the floor to have some ? well, why not both, by you're question that don't have winter assault ? do you, if you have it on the other hand : in the ME there is the object placement icon which i assume you know of, left to it -> the decal placement, the snow is under snow_slush... start by playing in mixing texture ( decal ) to make it look great, before make it snow... it's burning step if you ask me, the best tips i ever got : place an Object with adjustable heigh, hold shift+(r)mouse Magic does not constrain to terrain !!

also, open the tab scenario to terrain proprieties set the fog start to highest / fog end it lowest ! and sky radius to 512 and you'll see originaly instruct to me by Sgt_Bash !

Re: Warhammer 40k mission editor problem

do you know how to change the height of objects because in the object placement theres an option for them to be adjustable or relative to the terrain, and i dont know how to change it with the 'adjustable' setting.

Re: Warhammer 40k mission editor problem

post no 6 i've told you, I'll tell again but always look, ( like 5 post down ) before replying ) "" don't always do it, but i should ! " it's i'm much sure that it's hold shift+(r)mouse ,.. the Obj placement thing is kind of lazy, click, unclick it 2-3 times before moving the obj ( to be sure ) you'll get the fell of it quick, and belive me it a truly $/%$/*(_*()//$&* good advise THX SGT_BASH WHOEVER YOU ARE, never heard again of the guy ... trough it's like how can people mod without that option ? i had to improve the thing, or sgt_bash told me to hold shift with several other key.. nothing else, I not find it on any tutorial files neither should someone truly helped.. Pass the tips to new mapper would you ?
if someone did in fact include it in tut files, I'm sorry to have write what's above, i've should just not find it

Re: Warhammer 40k mission editor problem

I don't have any expansion packs for Dawn of War, but i do want to use ME, but when it opens, the debug windows says that a number of folders are missing, is this just a simple error with the program, and i need to re-install? or should i try maknig the folders.
Also i tried making a new map with Any mod, and it says first that it can't load all of the game's resources.
Any and all help will be appreciated ^^
