Re: Skinning Help Plz Google is your friend ;) Google: how to skin dawn of war turns up the Skins@HWT Tutorials at number four in the list. I'd recommend SandwichWarrior's Skinning 4 Dummies as a starter. As for tools, you'll need my Dawn of War Texture Tool, an SGA Extractor to get the files out (I recommend SpookyRAT, or there's Corsix's SGA Viewer on the Mod Packager in the official Mod Tools - again, Google for them), and something like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, The GIMP or any other reasonable art program that can save uncompressed 32-bit colour and 8-bit greyscale TGA images. |
Re: Skinning Help Plz thankyou for this info, but could you please give me some links? for the downloads i mean |
Re: Skinning Help Plz I linked the text for the tutorials and my Texture Tool, it's just that the default FileFront skins sucks so much that you can't tell until you hover over the damned thing. As for Spooky RAT or whatever - like I said, Google them. As the sig says - Google is your friend, go talk to it! If you want the official Mod Packager then you'll want the 1.41 Mod Tools which are available on the DoWFiles site. I prefer SpookyRAT, though, because it lets you extract a single file instead of the whole archive. |
