Help - DoW RDN Tools & Scale Modding
 
I just can't find a way to edit unit scale past 1.20 patch for DoW.
The string vis_scale_max that was in .lua files does obviously not exist anymore, since .lua files disappeared.
I need to re-scale units and i'm stuck in the mud with RDN tools, which never worked for me, i don't know why; my modding was based on .lua modification.

Does anyone have time to write to me something about this, or post a link with some explanations?

My new mod would be, if i could do it, a synthesis between several mods, with more proportioned units, as in Space Marine tabletop game (my reference for units size), and with altered CAP for veichles and squads, of course. In the meantime I just hope Relic does not screw up mods every time there is a new patch. Relic gives and Relic takes. LoL.

vis_scale_min = 1.20,
vis_scale_max = 1.20,

This is still in the same place as before (art folder) and is still a lua file, an example being:

D:\THQ\Dawn of War_3\daemonhorde\Data\art\ebps\races\daemonhorde\ troops\flamer.lua

Data folders have changed but Art folders are pretty much as they were.

Also, you can still mod with lua files, just use the AE to burn the files to binary. The luas are now in your my_mod/datageneric folder. When burnt to binary the RGD version of it just goes into your mod folder.
