Help with map add ons
 

I need help with map addons. No matter what I do, I always get the same message when I type what the readme tells me to type to get to the map. Can't find map [insert map name here]. I've downloaded a ton of other mods and they all work perfectly. It's just the maps that don't work. Please help people, I'm at the end of my legal wits here. The only thing that I can think of that might make it work would end up with me in court for copy right violations.

Maybe you have the MapPath wrong, although this cvar isn't used very much now.

Or when trying to load map try this...:

map maps/[press TAB key here to search for the map]

or...

map game/[press TAB key here]

or...

map game/mp/[press TAB key here]

If that doesn't work, are you sure you have the location right: \Doom 3\base.
Some maps don't go in there, but it would say in the read me.

Well I got one map to work, and the thing differnt about this map is that it had .map at the end and the others didnt.

Any map have to end in .map !!!
