Multi-Player Problems
 

I'm having problems with the multi-player...I attempt to join a match and it shows up stating that I don't have the proper files needed to join and that the server in question doesn't offer downloads...it happens everytime I click on a server. I have RoE installed and I am running off of v1.3.1 which is why I downloaded it because the servers said the same thing when I was running off of v1.2 and v1.3! Can anyone give me any possible reasons why it might be doing this?

Maybe becuase you have the Pk3 files or maps that servers has, you have to have the EXACT same map and files that the server uses.

Goat is right on the money here. If you are missing files, you need to find out who runs the server and get to their website and get it. Or you could find out what you need to download and get the files somewhere else.

Some server admins shoot themselves in the foot when they put special files on their server and don't allow download. Thank god some games give a redirect link which sends them to an ftp on their sites instead.

i got dialup and i cant play doom3 online and i cant get highspeed so is there a mod or program that will make me able to play doom3 online with dialup P.S.hurry im so bored

Nope .You are stuck if you can't get high speed .

hey i can play gta online with mta with dial upand i play against ppl with highspeed and i play starwarsbattlefront2 online with dialup but i cant play doom3 online with dial up now that is messed up

Firewall setting maybe ?

NO! The only reason you can't play doom 3 multiplayer is becuase you haven't d/l'ed patch 1.3.1.
