Join Date: January 13th, 2005 Status: Available Rep Power: 0 | Doom 3, Will not run in full screen .gif) Morning everyone,
I have a problem with running Doom 3 on a high spec gaming machine. I have recently upgraded my graphics from a 9800xt to BFG 6800 ultra. I did a complete re-install of windows and drivers then installed Doom 3. In loads to default 800x600 and covers the whole of my screen, when I up the resolution to 1900x1200 I get the game running in a kind of window. It increases resolution but the gaming screen shinks, ie: I can see the right hand side of my desktop. I never had this problem with the 9800xt and it doesn't happen in any other games. Can anyone help.
Rest of the Spec:
Monitor : Apple 23" Home cinema display
CPU : AMD 64 FX53
RAM : Corsair xms pro 4000 - 1024
2 x 74gig Raptors in Raid 0
Edit: I have made sure the "show full screen" is ticked in options and I have tried uninstall - reinstall. Also I have worked out the I can run it in a window, (game options) then stretch it to fill my screen, but really I want it to work properly.
Thanks people |
