To Users of 6800GT on Doom3 does any of u guys experience a form of horizontal pixellation/distortion which occurs when u move the character from left to right during the game? I notice this and although its not bad to a point which makes the game unplayable .. it is still visible... it doesnt occur when not moving ... is this normal ? updated vga drivers n bios to the latest already and also installed the patch for the game.. |
Re: To Users of 6800GT on Doom3 Enable vsync in the advanced display options to fix your problem. |
Re: To Users of 6800GT on Doom3 ok did it and it solved the problem.. thanx... but it seems that the frame rate took a hit .. seems more jerky than normal... does v sync decrease frame rate performance? And how do you guys check the actual frame rate per sec in the game.. is there a special benchmark tool? |
Re: To Users of 6800GT on Doom3 Yes enabling vsync does reduce the frame rate. Your Geforec 6800 gt show have not problem with doom3 because it is very powerful and I'm getting one soon. I don't know how you display the fps but I once typed timedemo1 or something like that in the console and a movie come up and it displayed the fps. |
