mods wont work

very annoyed ive put the.pk files into my c:\programfiles\doom3\base dir

& they dont show up in the mods on the main menu?

ne explanations ne1.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I have created a .pk4 file with my level in it <under maps\game\mp> and created a .def file under \def, apparrently the same as some other mods I have looked at but doom3 doesnt recognise it.. I am hoping someone who understands whats going on may be able to help.. thanks

the only way I got my mods was to work was to make a new folder called then same thing of the mod and put the .PK4 in there.

also separate the binaries from the rest of your files. So you should have 2 .pk4 files in your mod folder.

all of my mods work and only 1 of them shows up in the Mods submenu from Doom 3's Main Menu screen. is that strange ?

Place a description.txt file in each of the mod's directory containing the name of the mod. Also, if they are not zipped in a .pk4 file, you will not see them either.
