how do i make this thing work???????? can someone tell me like kinda detailed way to make this goddamn doom editor thing work....i have my console open and i type editor in and a bunch of like all white boxes comes up and i cant see anything wtf.....how do i make it work:confused:   |
Re: how do i make this thing work???????? Is this the first time you opened the editor? If so, click around the screen (you might not be able to see the mouse) until the mouse appears. If not do the following: Shift + Control + C = Camera View This should make that window pop-up. If the mouse doesn't appear after clicking on it you have to blindly go to the VIEW tab at the top and click (don't worry the mouse may be invisible but it still works) then select TOGGLE (the first one) then XY. This should bring up a grid. Click on the grid and the mouse should work. Also you might be in full screen mode so in the Doom 3 Console type r_fullscreen 0 Then type vid_restart Then type editor After that you should be okay. Hope this kind of makes sense. [GoS]CPT_JoJo |
Re: how do i make this thing work???????? hey bro, the way I did it was I made a duplicate of the doom3 icon, went into the properties of that icon, and under target i put this... "C:\Program Files\Doom 3\Doom3.exe" com_allowConsole 1 +set r_fullscreen 0 +editor +set r_brightness 1 and +set r_gramma 1 Delete your old target and copy and paste this command line in. After that just double click your new icon, which u can rename to "Doom3 Editor" and it should work perfectly. P.S. When you want to play doom3 after uve been in the editor it should be in window mode so u will have to go into options and set it back to normal screen. Thats the only tedious part of it. I Hope This Help Man :smokin: |
Re: how do i make this thing work???????? open doom3, normally, press alt+enter to goto window mode, and type in editor in the console shortcuting the editor you need +disconnect +set r_mode 5 +set r_fullscreen 0 +editor after the Doom3.exe" in the target |
