does anyone know how edit the ingame zoom toggle? i was wondering if it were possible to edit the "zoom" command so that you could make it zoom in farther? right now it goes from the defualt fov (90) to 70 which zooms in about 3x but i want to change it to somthing like 4x (fov 60) or 5x (fov 50). i don't know which file i would edit this from, thanks in advance for any help. |
Re: does anyone know how edit the ingame zoom toggle? This is what I use. Just create an autoexec.cfg in your \doom 3\base directory and put this in it. set zoom1 "g_fov 90; bind s vstr nzoom2" set nzoom2 "g_fov 70; bind s vstr nzoom3" set nzoom3 "g_fov 60; bind s vstr nzoom4" set nzoom4 "g_fov 50; bind s vstr nzoom5" set nzoom5 "g_fov 40; bind s vstr zoom1" bind s vstr zoom1 |
Re: does anyone know how edit the ingame zoom toggle? Forget my first post, this is the easiest way: bind "s" "toggle g_fov 90 70 60 50 40" |
Re: does anyone know how edit the ingame zoom toggle? yeah i know that you can do that, but i was looking at editing the zoom toggle under the command "zoom" i know that you can bind a cvar toggle to make i zoom but i want to keep the natural style zoom in effect. but thanks for the concern reguardless. |
