Okay folks - just to show we're very alive: What do You guys/gals think of the rumored release date of November 03?

Yep..i think so too...got it all planned out. I actually wouldnt mind it being released just b4 christmas....gimme something to play whilst getting mashed. =)

But yeah...as said, i got it planned out, if the releases go according to plan..
Elite Force 2, Thief 3, Half Life 2 (which also is looking absoulutely stunning as well btw), then doom3. Plus, there r loads of other great prospects comming out, such as DeusEx2 and Stalker just to name a few..

This year started off slow, but its looking like its gonna turn into one of the greatest years ever for games....

That is wat my sources are telling me too. Personally I would like to give them more time to make that game work with open GL. For all of us that remembers the constant put-off from diablo 2 that the least I can say is not to get ones hopes up.

Carmack exclusively programs upon OpenGL.

aslong as the game comes out before xmas ill be happy :), ive been waiting for this game ever since its first announcment w/ the geforce 3 promo, the time has finally arived, i personally think they would release in november , november is usually the month that all the xmas holiday sales skyrocket , would be a good time to release.

Thats a relief.

I was wanting it to be released BEFORE this year's E3, just as Carmack was trying aim for.

Now I have little faith in id anymore; they never keep their promises :( :( :(

I think I'm gonna cry now...
