| Hi, Erm yes, I feel somewhat stupid about having to ask this but anyhoo.I would like to do some more accurate drawing in Photoshop for a texture map, (read more accurate than just that freehand crap,) now I'm not asking how to map something onto an object I already know how to do that. How I would like you people to help me is to show/tell me the more precise methods of drawing things in Photoshop. For instance where is the curve tool where you just lay down points and tangents These are things that are in cheap graphics programs so I assume they're in Photoshop somewhere, I just erm, can't find them.So to sum it up: Technical drawing tools/methods, whatever you want to call them, where are they and how do I use them? |

| Drawing things? What kind of things? Maybe you mean the pen tool?

| *Tries the pen tool* Well that would be almost perfect if it printed itself onto the image but as I understand it it lays down a path. How do I get that path to be actually something that's 'drawn' rather than just a path? edit: Drawing what? Well I wanted to add an engraving thing down the sword blade. edit again: NM found out that the thing I want to do is called 'stroke' so I could find the instructions in the Help file at last Thanks Fragger Last edited by Nemmerle; June 5th, 2005 at 06:32 PM.. |

| For the pen tool, right-click the path and click on "stroke path", but select the right size for your brush first.

| For this site, go to your control panel and click "edit signature". Host your image with http://imageshack.us Get the code from there Don't say "fricken". Only Yosemite Sam says that.
