My achievement and records are clear?

Not really thinking about it but just asking you all for my knowledge. What if I uninstall my copy of Diablo 3? Does all my records and achievements are clear? Or all my game data are secure at server side as it is? As far as I know only new account is clear your records nothing else? What you say?
