Galen Marek vs. Luke Skywalker

Since these seem somewhat popular, I wanted to see what you guys thought between Luke Skywalker, and Galen Marek(Secret apprentice) based on everything, novels, games, and movies

I say Skywalker because he beat the emperor's heir Joruus C'baoth in "The Last Command" who I thought was much more powerful then the emperor

And not to mention that Galen Marek would have been just as powerful as luke if he was in the movies, since they weren't portraying the force as "unleashed"

I think that Luke from LOTF would win. Galen is Luke as a sith, but Luke has spent more years as a Force-user, and has a lot more experience under his belt.

Besides, I just can't picture the TFU-Marek do the things that Luke has done in the books.
Like affecting black holes...

Galen was able to beat Vader, and still have enough power to resist the Emperor's attack. Only reason he couldn't beat both would be because of Vader's training.

I doubt it. The Emperor might not have necessarily been fighting Marek with his full potential. For the record, nazoa, Palpatine is the most powerful Sith ever so far, no one has passed. Marek and Vader had more potential, but they never fulfilled it.

ok, that still makes sense, but it doesn't change my opinion that Luke would own Galen any day in raw power

lol finally one of these 'vs' that doesn't involve Revan...

Marek or 'starkiller' is very powerfull however most of his work is uncannon.
Starkiller had the potential as does everyone now but then Luke is the son of the chosen one bollocks and was THE best. he beat Sideous!
After the swarm or even the vong war Luke was unstopable.

How is most of his work uncannon? Everything that was related to the main story(The Star Destroyer on Raxus Prime, the Showdown on the Executor, etc) is considered canon.

Except how the portrayed the force, if luke skywalker had been in TFU, he would have been just as powerful as Marek, because that is how they were portraying the force, Haden Blackman said that himself in an interview on TFU when asked "Is this the most powerful jedi ever?"

actually, he didn't beat sidious if you remember.... He was getting pwnzored by the lightning, and then vader betrayed his master, fulfilling the prophecy

I'm not even sure he beat C'Boath anymore, it may have been Mara Jade, but Luke DID beat vader like Galen, and did a ton of crazy stuff in the books, so I still vote for him
